The StoryRight Project: Into Civilian Life

Posted on: Mon 29 Oct 2018

Aussie military veterans have more to offer than just attendance at commemoration services such as Anzac Day after they transition to civilian life.  However transitioning is often a difficult time for them, as is knowing how to translate Defence Force Skills to civilian jobs, particularly the dreaded job applications and interviews.  It’s all about knowing they have something to offer the community once they get out.

The StoryRight Project confirms that there is hope after Defence, and there are employers out there who are interested in employing Veterans. It’s mainly a matter of getting the language right!

Sharon Mascall Dare, Oliver Andrews and Nicolette Maxwell tell us about this exciting new project.
