Des Ross: Piper Extraordinaire

There’s more to Des Ross than bagpipes! With a lifelong interest in communication and a background in broadcasting – but now well and truly retired – Des still fits an incredible amount of volunteering work into his week.
Head of Clan Ross in Australia, Des is also President of Scottish Radio, 5ebi. A former member of 3RAR (3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment) he formed the First Pipes and Drums at Woodside Army Camp.
