Oil Drilling in the Great Australian Bight

Drilling for oil in the Great Australian Bight may begin later this year after the Federal Government renewed exploration licences in two large areas to Norwegian Oil giant Statoil.
Nathaniel Pelle from Greenpeace Australia, a co-ordinator of the protests held at the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association’s annual conference in Adelaide two days ago, spoke with Tom Jordan this morning.
