Prince released one of his classics, Purple Rain, on this day in 1984. As the annual Eurovision song contest hit our screens over the weekend, on this day in 2009, Norway’s Alexander Rybak took out the title with a record-breaking win. Interestingly, he was back at Eurovision and competing again this year!
