Is Unrealistic TV Helping Doctors?

A new study has found that television shows such as Greys Anatomy can actually help junior doctors in dealing with difficult situations.

However, these shows tend to be unrealistic compared to real hospital situations. So how do TV shows help? Can TV shows educate future doctors?

Centenary research professor from the University of Canberra, Deborah Lupton, joins Casey Tonkin to discuss how TV may help doctors in difficult situations.
