South Australians are increasingly aware of how arts has a positive impact on wellbeing and happiness, yet despite this artists are paid 21% less than the Australian workforce average.
That’s the findings of the latest research commissioned by The Australia Council for the Arts.
Emma Fey, the executive director of Guildhouse, speaks with Tara Nash to unpack these findings and discuss the importance of the arts in South Australia.
