End Government ‘climate censorship’

The Climate Council is calling for the backlog of Australia’s greenhouse gas pollution data to be released urgently.
The federal government has failed to provide an update for almost 6 months. It has now delayed the release of the June quarterly data report, which would show the current state of Australia’s pollution levels. A rise of 1.6 per cent was recorded in March.
To examine whether this is symptomatic of the federal government’s inadequate climate and energy policy, Barometer’s Des Lawrence spoke to Climate Council CEO, Amanda McKenzie.
