Trying For A Baby? Cut The Alcohol…Men Too!

Did you know alcohol consumption has effects on both men and women when it comes to trying for a baby? Well established studies confirm that alcohol consumption during pregnancy leads to  newborns developing a range of behavioural, physical and cognitive disabilities later in life.

But what about before pregnancy and while conceiving? Researchers Diana Lucia and Karin Moritz from The University of Queensland say recent research points to a link between alcohol and poor sperm development, meaning the onus is on expectant fathers too.

Breakfast host Morgan Burley discussed the issue further with Diana Lucia.
