On this day in 1989, the Communist rule ended in Hungary.

Also on this day, New York saw it’s largest Women’s Suffrage march just days before they held a referendum vote to allow women to vote.

Meanwhile, in 2001, Apple releases the first iPod which completely changed the way we listen to music.
