The Jamie Larcombe Centre

The closure of the Repat Hospital at Daw Park (and in particular Ward 17)  has been a controversial subject within the Veteran community from day one.  A large crowd attended the recent opening of the Jamie Larcombe Centre, the new $15 million Veterans’ mental health precinct located at Glenside Health Service Campus, providing mental health and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) services to Veterans.  We asked some of the attendees for their opinions about the new centre… How does it stack up as a replacement for Ward 17?
