Currently in New Zealand, Middle Eastern or African refugees are only permitted to settle in the country if they already have family living there.

This decade-old policy brought in by the National Party is causing refugee advocates to take action, calling for the Prime Minister to scrap the Family-Link Resettlement policy.

Our Kiwi correspondent, Oscar Perress of 95bFM joins Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis to discuss more.
