Juries Understanding Sexual Assault

Legislation in New South Wales now allows for judges to explain to a jury that victims of sexual assault may struggle to remember the details of the trauma they have faced.

John Anderson, Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Evidence from the University of Newcastle, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to discuss this legislation further.
