Pro-cycling and climate change – the good the bad and the ugly

The Union Cycliste Internationale is the world governing body for pro-cycling, including Tour de France and our Tour Down Under. Their website states that climate change is the greatest threat to the essential elements of life for people worldwide and our sport. Meanwhile there is growing opposition to the use of the sport for greenwashing the reputation of major carbon emitting companies. The UCI also has a climate charter.
