A Ticket to Paradise?

Travel writer and UniSA Creative Academic, Dr Ben Stubbs, knows how to combine social/political history, personal family history, and travel writing into a compelling narrative.  His book, Ticket to Paradise, written in 2012, is an intriguing story of the Colony of New Australia, founded in the wilds of Paraguay back in the late 1890s. It also incorporates Ben’s personal story of how he commenced his quest to South America to find out more.
