Protecting democracy

Even before Moira Were was elected Mayor of Onkaparinga Council last November she had to deal with the fact that it’s one of the places where our democracy is being threatened. The electoral count in the tally room on election night was stopped, and then one of the first meetings of the new council. Moira has the background, the strength and the intelligence to take it on. In this conversation with Nicky Page she also talks about Smart Cities and 15 minute cities, topics of concern for some of those disrupters of council meetings at Onkaparinga, Salisbury and elsewhere.
