Seaweed – an Untapped Resource?

Most of us usually encounter seaweed wrapped around sushi, or else snagged at the end of a fishing line. But research suggests that seaweed for food, feed and fuel is a vast untapped resource, and one that will produce less carbon emissions, and free up land used for farming crops. Barry Mitchell spoke to University of Queensland researcher, Scott Spillias.
