Biodiversity Council Tackling Extinction Crisis

The Biodiversity Council has been created at Melbourne University, as a body to advise Government and others on how to tackle the very serious biodiversity threats we are facing in Australia. While the Minister Tanya Plibersek has announced some reforms in the EPBC act which oversees this area, will they be enough to reverse the extinction trend? Barometer’s Barry Mitchell spoke to Professor Brendan Wintle from the Council.
