TONIX

Posted on: Mon 5 Dec 2022

Not old enough to buy a gin and tonic, but ambitious enough to completely shapeshift the Adelaide music scene, TONIX is the project by teenagers Archie McEwen and Henry Brill Reed, who bring a modern synthy-twist on jazz transcending you into a dream like state, or a dreamlike mosh-pit.

Live performances is their ‘thing’, where Archie’s sax and Henry’s keys perform to crowds outside Adelaide Oval after footy games, to then their mega 90-minute set at Space Jams Fest.

Their new single, ‘Stars That Hold Us’, joined by vocalist Sammy Keough, is out this Thursday.

Kate Johnson chats to the boys about the journey so far, and what’s to come in the TONIXsphere.
