Tasmanian Devils have been facing a serious pandemic of their own in recent years: a contagious facial cancer spreading amongst the population and killing thousands each year.
However, there is hope with a new vaccine that is hoped to give this unique creature a fighting chance.
Andrew S. Flies, Senior Research Fellow in Immunology at the University of Tasmania, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to chat about the future of this new vaccine.
