Dinali Virasinghe was born in Sri Lanka, but her parents left there to seek a safer life in Australia. Her new book of poems, called Meandering on the Margins is “grounded in a passionate love for the Earth and unsettled by the questioning of the systems and structures underpinning our globalised world.” Nicky Page enjoyed it so much she invited Dinali into the studio to talk about it, and to read three of her poems.
