Local Photographer Stands with Ukraine Through War-torn Reimagining of Adelaide

Local commercial photographer, Drew Lenman has created a powerful project ‘Imagine Our City’ using photo editing software, with images of Adelaide and war-torn Ukraine to reimagine our city destroyed by the devastations of war.
Drew who says the “intention [of the project] is to raise awareness of what the refugees and civilians of Ukraine are going through” – has comprised the work through a selection of before and after images of iconic Adelaide venues in a moving film.
Drew was invited to showcase his work as part of Stand with Ukraine Charity Concert earlier this month, and has also aligned himself with the Ukraine Crisis Appeal to raise much needed funds for families and children requiring food, shelter and necessary items.
Drew joined Festival City’s Emma Wotzke to share more about the project, motivating factors and his broader journey as a commercial and photographer.
