In 1947, American Air Force test pilot Chuck Yeager became the first human to fly faster than the speed of sound at over eleven-thousand kilometres per hour.

In 1926, Winnie-the-Pooh made his literary debut in his first appearances in A.A. Milne’s work inspired by the teddy bear his son Christopher Robin Milne carried with him.

In 2004, Apple’s iTunes music store reached one million songs sold on the platform.
