Nocturnal animals abound in Australia – and can be affected by the light we emit from our houses and cities. What is the effect of artificial light on animals, birds and insects, and how can we adapt our own behaviour to help them? Barometer’s Barry Mitchell spoke to Associate Professor in Evolutionary and Behavioural Ecology at the Urban Light Lab, University of Melbourne, Theresa Jones.
