Turning Pollution into Products

Posted on: Fri 27 Aug 2021

How great would it be if we could take carbon emissions from the air and recycle them into fuel, clothes and other useful materials?

Scientists are looking at ways carbon dioxide recycling could transform manufacturing industries to use carbon rather than produce it with projections that it could negate billions of tonnes of greenhouse gases each year.

Jamin Wood from the Australian Centre for Water and Environmental Biotechnology at The University of Queensland joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Paul Davies to tell us more about this exciting technology.
