The 1978 film, Girlfriends, follows an aspiring photographer who faces various challenges when she tries to build her career while shooting for weddings and other events. It’s having a special screening this Saturday night at the Mercury.
Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis caught up with our Screens Reviewer Aimee Knight to discuss the significance of this film and the experience of seeing this difficult to find film on the silver screen.
