What are Micronations?

Micronations are political entities whose members claim that they belong to an independent nation or sovereign state; lacking legal recognition by world governments or major international organizations.

New research has identified that 135 Micronations exist around the world with a third of them surprisingly being located right here in Australia. So what are Micronations all about?
