Jim Rogers: “You were an infantry soldier son! Never forget it!”

Posted on: Mon 24 May 2021

Guest Interviewer Daniel O’Brien OAM chats with his friend Jim Rogers, whose birthdate was drawn in the National Service ‘Lottery’, plunging him into 2 years of life in the Australian Infantry.  Jim still serves, but now as a Volunteer with the Byron Bay RSL Sub- Branch. This is a great, down-to-earth yarn that will be appreciated by many an old Digger, and all those who love a good story.
