US Correspondent – Taylor Kaplan

In the US, police violence has been brought into focus again with two recent killings of black men Daunte Wright and Adam Toledo.

These killings have induced protests in Minnesota and Chicago, and reignited calls for change within the police system.

Also in the US, President Biden has announced he will maintain the widely-criticised capped intake of refugees introduced under Trump.

US correspondent Taylor Kaplan joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to discuss these issues.
