On this day in history;

In 1952, The Great Smog of London saw a lethal fog cover the city of London for five days from December 5th til the 9th.

In 1961, The Museum of Modern Art was found to have displayed Matisse’s Le Bateau upside down for 47 days, and was flipped the right way up.

In 1980, two months after the death of drummer John Bonham, Led Zeppelin announced they would disband.
