While the idea of combining cabaret and country music might initially sound unusual, it makes perfect sense.
Both forms are the realm of storytellers, who can pull you in to the detail, and make you laugh or cry on a whim.
Libby O’Donovan and Beccy Cole are legends in their chosen musical fields, and are combining their talents again with their latest show, The Cowgirl and The Showgirl Ride again.
Festival City’s Sarah Martin spoke with Libby about the saving graces of art during lockdown, keeping a sense of humour, and working with her wife.
