Bad treatment at the hands of the general public toward our returning male troops from the war in Vietnam is well known and documented….  but the men weren’t the only targets of angry mobs…  for more than 40 years, Warrant Officer Shirley Ball of The Women’s Royal Australian Army Corps didn’t speak about her experiences, and then only on the spur of the moment at an airport lounge.
