Andrea Fraser comes from the clan groups Waanyi and Birri-Gubba in Far North Queensland, but it was in the newsroom at Central Australia Aboriginal Media Association that she started her media career. She later became a key member of the Indigenous broadcast team at Radio Adelaide. Andi values Radio Adelaide for their support of Indigenous media, because it is “crucial for Aboriginal People to compile and distribute Our news Our way”.
