Posted on: Thu 14 Mar 2019

Professor Toby Walsh is the head of the Artificial Intelligence at the University of New South Wales, has led various research groups around the world, and has won several prizes for his work (including the Humboldt Award and the Premier’s Prize for Excellence in Engineering).

But he isn’t just limited to research. Professor Walsh came to Adelaide Writer’s Week to talk about his book 2062: The World That AI Made.

The book looks at the potential future we can have with AI and also how to make the right decisions to ensure that we get one of the good futures.

Professor Walsh began his chat with Subatomic‘s Rohan Neagle by talking about why he chose the title 2062.
