Australian Film Restoration

The National Film and Sound Archive are dedicated to restoring Australian films for future generations.

Onscreen Offscreen’s Rob Lawry spoke to NFSA Chief Curator Gayle Lake to learn more about the film restoration process and the importance of digitising Australian media, including the 1987 coming-of-age drama The Year My Voice Broke.
