Workplace Drug Testing

Workplace drug testing is becoming increasingly controversial, and employees are pushing back against a proposed policy for mandatory alcohol and drug testing in the workplace.

Employees at the South Australian Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure do not welcome the policy calling it invasion of privacy, while others in the department say the policy is there to “save employees from injury”.

Breakfast presenter Tom Jordan spoke to Bill Hayes from Integrity Sampling to discuss the issue further.
