On this day in 1957, Jack Kerouac’s iconic, jazzy On the Road was published.
The following year, Russian Boris Pasternak published Dr. Zhivago. The novel is about a poet during the Russian revolution.
And Queen’s Freddy Mercury was born on this day in 1946.
