A flâneur is one who saunters around observing society. Our program adopts this position to empathise with and understand the human condition. Using literature, philosophy, politics, economics, and anthropology—among others—we attempt to shed light on ‘dasein’, that is, what it means to be human.
Our program traverses the full breadth of human experience: those stories of love and hate, triumph and disaster, drudgery and fulfilment—the multitude of spectra that combines to constitute one’s life.
The Queensland Tiger isn't extinct like Tasmania's Thylacine, rather he's simply living in self imposed Exile.
Clearly he still feels the pull of home and is drawn to Australiana.
