Toxic microalgae bloom closes SA beaches

Posted on: Tue 1 Apr 2025

Faith Coleman is an estuarine ecologist who’s studied the interface between sea and shore for 30 years. So when Karenia mikimotoi started to bloom in the waters south of Fleurieu Peninsula she immediately identified it. Faith Coleman tells the story.
