Aylin Tezel: Write/Act/Direct
Posted on: Tue 19 Nov 2024
In Adelaide until early December, The Russell Hobbs British Film Festival features a beautifully quirky film written, directed and acted by Brunde, Germany based performer Aylin Tezel who left acting school after a year because she didn’t enjoy it, then went on to be a celebrated and award winning actor for the next decade. The film deals with a couple of lonely single people who meet in a quiet Scottish town and displays some extraordinary scenery. Art Throb host David Jobling asked her how she came up with the idea and story for this, her debut film, Falling Into Place.
