We don’t have the luxury of despair

Professor Mazin Qumsiyeh is a Palestinian Christian ecologist and the founder and director of both the Palestine Museum of Natural History and the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability. He teaches at the University of Bethlehem and is in Australia to connect with First Nations, faith groups, ecologists and others working towards a global movement for peace, land rights and environmental justice. In Adelaide he spoke on the topic How do we work together to heal the devastation of war and create hope for our children? He has an inspiring vision and says that Palestinians don’t have the luxury of despair.
