Women Take on Nepal

Women Take on Nepal started when Tania Verbeeck lugged a 20kg pack of film equipment up to Everest Base camp, led by a team of Nepalese women guides. The award-winning short film tells the story of these women who are determined to provide alternative employment for their young countrywomen who have very few alternatives and are at risk of sex trafficking. Tania spoke with Nicky Page in Adelaide about the beginnings of the film and plans for it’s promotion.
