The Road to War

Quite a few of us are just a little bit freaked out by the idea of Australia buying nuclear submarines from the US. A very timely new doco The Road to War, right on topic, is showing around the country. It’s by the extraordinary film maker David Bradbury. He’s won 5 AFI awards and countless international festival prizes. In 40 years he’s made 25 films and all of them are bold exposures of uncomfortable truths, representing people who often risk all to tell their stories to the world. The film was screened in Adelaide on March 29. This interview includes a new song called Suicide Bomber Submarine, by Spirit of Alondray.
