Escape from Kabul

It’s over 12 months now since our troops left Kabul in a hurry. The situation for Afghan people quickly became serious especially for women and for Hazara people. Single mother and teacher “Jane” decided to flee to Iran with her 5 young daughters. Iran is not safe either right now of course, so “Jane” reached out to a Hazara man in SA whom she’d never met. Juma asked his friends Mij Tanith and Sue Webb to help, to raise $30,000. They knew they could not turn away AND they know they can do it. This is the story
