COP27 is over, here’s what happened.

The UN-run climate summit, COP27, wrapped up last week in Egypt. Among other things, the announcement of a fund for loss and damages to developing nations was announced.
However, due to overall disappointing results, questions have been raised over the effectiveness of climate summits, and what other avenues we can use to promote positive environmental change.
Breakfast’s Kate Johnson is joined by Matt McDonald from the University of Queensland to discuss the summit and reflect on Australia’s current and future climate policy.
