AFF Award winner doco The Hamlet Syndrome

The Hamlet Syndrome is a new documentary film that’s just taken out the AFF Feature Documentary Award.
The film looks at a theatre troupe in Ukraine in the lead up to the current conflict who are looking to stage a production that combines elements of the Shakespearian classic Hamlet with their lived combat experience.
Elwira Niewiera, director of The Hamlet Syndrome, joins Breakfast‘s Tom Mann to express her feelings about receiving the award and tell her experiences of making the film.
