Solar PV Industry for Australia

While Australia leads the world in the domestic uptake of solar power, the panels and other infrastructure required comes mostly from China and other countries. Why don’t we have – and could we have – a solar PV manufacturing industry in Australia? Barometer’s Barry Mitchell spoke to the UNSW Lead at the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics, Professor Renate Egan.
