Distributing Energy in the Community

Dr Gabrielle Kuiper is an expert in Distributed Energy Resources – DER, at the Smart Energy Council. DER refers to the way energy – specifically renewable energy is shared and distributed in the community, and how this can be done through the establishment of virtual power plants, using domestic resources. She spoke to Barometer’s Barry Mitchell at the State Energy Summit earlier this year.
