What do aged care residents do all day?
That’s the question that researchers from Western Sydney University and Macquarie University answered in a recent study.
The study also highlights that, as human beings, aged care residents need to socially connect with each other to improve their lives. So what can be done to create more opportunities for the residents to socialise in aged care environments?
Joyce Siette, Research Fellow at Western Sydney University and co-author of the study, speaks with Breakfast producer David Bucio to discuss further.
