Last week Tania Plibersek, Minister for the Environment, released the State of the Environment Report, a damming indictment of the last five years neglect of our national environmental heritage, with more and more species added to the threatened and endangered list, ongoing widespread clearing of habitat, and climate disasters. Tania Plibersek spoke to the National Press Club, and Barometer’s Barry Mitchell spoke to Amelia Young, National Campaigns Director for the Wilderness Society.
