It might seem a bit premature to be thinking about summer in the middle of winter, but the recent record-breaking temperatures in Europe this week have raised concern for what might be to come this summer here in Australia.
The UK broke records with temperatures exceeding forty degrees and wildfires have raged in parts of Europe.
Senior Lecturer in Climate Science at the University of Melbourne, Andrew King, speaks with Breakfast’s Tom Mann about the changing climate and what these extreme weather events mean for Australia.
